The Batesville Bulldogs secured a well-earned 2-0 conference victory against Greensburg High School. The Bulldogs demonstrated both strong passing and solid defense throughout the match, according to coach Kyle Hunteman. After a scoreless first half where the Bulldogs successfully neutralized the Pirates' threats and quick counters, the Bulldogs' offense broke through in the second period. The scoring opened in the 22nd minute when Ronan Post delivered a low-driven corner kick into the box, which Trenton Taylor tapped into the net. Next, the Bulldogs added to their lead when Brady Wonnell successfully dribbled down the flank to win possession, setting up Simon Berkemeier for a long shot that found the side netting.
