The Batesville Bulldogs suffered a 1-0 loss to the Lawrenceburg Tigers. The first half was a tense, scoreless battle, characterized by aggressive play and strong offensive pushes from both teams, according to coach Kyle Hunteman. Batesville created several scoring chances with effective combination passing, but the solid defense and impressive saves from both goalkeepers kept the score locked at zero. A late defensive error by the Bulldogs in the second half gave the Tigers a final chance, and Lawrenceburg capitalized, scoring the deciding goal with only 1 minute and 30 seconds remaining in the match. Despite the loss, Batesville played a tough game.
