Batesville High School

The Batesville High School soccer team battled to a 3-3 tie with Greenfield-Central. Batesville opened the scoring in the first half when Ryan McGuire finished a lofted ball from Ronan Post, but Greenfield-Central quickly equalized on a counter-attack. The second half saw Greenfield Central take the lead from a deflected shot, only for Post to score two impressive goals - a deep driven shot and a one-touch finish, putting his team back in front. However, a late-game misplay allowed Greenfield Central to capitalize and score the final goal, resulting in a tie at the end of the match.
