Mason Jones collected three hits in three at bats, as Batesville Varsity Bulldogs defeated Columbus East by a score of 5-2. The Bulldogs took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Rylan Yeager doubled to right field, Ronan Post singled to center field, and Brayden Maple walked, each scoring one run. Dane Dudley threw three innings of scoreless ball for Batesville earning the save. The hurler allowed one hit, striking out four and walking two. The Bulldogs amassed nine hits in the game. Maple had the most chances in the field with nine.
