Batesville High School

The Batesville Bulldogs improved to 10-3 on the season with a 2-1 victory over Madison. Both teams were strong on the hill. Carson Meyer started the game for Batesville and recorded all 21 outs. Batesville opened the scoring in the second after Cayden Drake singled, scoring two runs. Meyer earned the win for the Bulldogs. The hurler gave up four hits and one unearned run over seven innings, striking out one and walking none. Drake, the number seven hitter for Batesville, led the way with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-2 on the day. Brayden Maple, Dane Dudley, Mason Jones, Drake, and Ronan Post each collected one hit for the Bulldogs. Batesville turned one double play in the game. Batesville moves to 10-3 on the season while the Madison Cubs drops to 10-3.
