Batesville High School

The Batesville Bulldogs were 51-38 winners in boys varsity basketball at Rushville. The Bulldogs set the tone early with good defense and timely shooting. Batesville held the Lions to only eight points in the each of the first two quarters to take a 28-16 lead into halftime. The two teams played nearly even over the final 16 minutes of the game. James Hughes was 5-of-8 from 3-point range and led the Bulldogs with 22 points. Cade Kaiser was also in double figures with 11 points. Hughes and Brayden Maple each grabbed seven rebounds.
