Batesville High School

The Batesville High School girls varsity basketball team posted a 42-21 victory over Indian Creek. The Bulldogs held Indian Creek to one point in the first qaurter and four in the second to take a 17-5 lead into halftime. The tough defense continued in the second half as the Bulldogs held the Braves to only 21 points for the game. Batesville was led in scoring by Madelyn Haskamp with nine points, and Alyson Peters with eight. Lydia Haskamp was third in line with seven points. Madelyn Haskamp finished with nine rebounds, while Sophie Gesell grabbed eight. Gesell finished with a team-high seven steals.
