The Batesville High School football team defeated the Lawrenceburg Tigers by a score of 21-7 to win the IHSAA Sectional 30 title. The Bulldogs scored two times in the first quarter to take the early lead. Lawrenceburg cut into the lead with a score in the third, but the Bulldog defense did the job late. Batesville added a third touchdown in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. Senior quarterback Will Jaisle turned in a big game for the Bulldogs. He finished 8-of-15 passing for 73 yards and carried the ball 10 times for 117 yards. He had a long run of 86 yards. This is the second year in a row the Bulldogs claimed the sectional title.
