Jack Grunkemeyer was dominant on the hill, as the starting pitcher rang up 11 strikeouts in the Batesville Varsity Bulldog's 6-0 victory over the Lawrenceburg Tigers on Thursday. Grunkemeyer gave up three hits and zero runs over seven innings while walking one. The Bulldogs scored three times in the first inning to set the tone. They added one in the third and two more in the fourth. Brayden Maple led Batesville with two runs batted in. The right fielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Maple, Chris Lewis, and Carson Schneider each collected two hits for the Bulldogs. Batesville turned one double play in the game. The Bulldogs didn't commit a single error in the field. Krekeler had the most chances in the field with 11.
