Batesville's junior varsity baseball team moved to 4-0 with a 4-1 win at home against Centerville on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs led 1-0 after one inning and added two runs in the third and one run in the sixth to take the victory. Carson Hartley made his first start on the mound and delivered for a complete game win. He allowed a run on five hits with 11 strikeouts and three walks over seven innings. Noah Weigel went 3-for-3 with two runs and William Huber, Damien Krekeler, James Hughes and Damien Dance each came through with a base hit. Huber, Dance and Keegan Walke were credited with an RBI apiece.
