Batesville High School

The Batesville Bulldogs rallied to defeat Madison by a score of 53-49. Batesville trailed at each of the first three quarter breaks before outscoring the Cubs 23-12 over the final eight minutes. Three Bulldogs scored in double figures to lead the way offensively. Jack Grunkemeyer tallied 16 points followed by Cade Kaiser (13) and Sam Johnson (10). Grunkemeyer and Johnson led the team in rebounding with five boards apiece. Defensively, the Bulldogs were credited with 12 steals on the day. Grunkemeyer had a team-high three, while Trenten Luers, Gus Prickel, Kaiser and Johnson each had two.
