Batesville High School

The Batesville High School boys varsity basketball team was defeated 54-51 at South Dearborn. The Bulldogs outscored the Knights 20-16 in the fourth quarter, but could not make up the 38-31 third quarter deficit. Jack Grunkemeyer led the team with 18 points and six rebounds. Cade Kaiser finished with 14 points, while Sam Johnson added 13. Gus Prickel led the team in assists with three.
