BHS wins rain-shortened match with Madison

The Batesville High School boys tennis team defeated Madison 3-0 in a rain-shortened match. Match results are below: Varsity 1S Jevan Smith (match suspended due to rain) 2S Carson Meyer defeated Carson Cammack 6-4, 6-1 3S Max Walter defeated Jayden Shook 6-0, 6-2 1D Will Patterson & Wes Peters (match suspended due to rain) 2D Coleman West & Eli Doll defeated Eric Gonzalez Maddox & Corbin Fischmer 6-0, 6-1 JV 1D Matthew Jensen & Tyler Musick defeated 6-3 2D Drew Nobbe & Parker Smith (match suspended due to rain) Rain at about an hour and 45 minutes into the match caused the match to be delayed and ultimately suspended. The overall result was a 3-0 win since the team match was decided before the rain suspended the match. The Bulldogs move to 12-2 (3-1 EIAC) on the season
