Batesville High School

The Batesville High School varsity girls soccer team posted a 5-0 win at home against Franklin County. Elia Wade started the morning out scoring a goal off a cut in and left footed shot. Shortly after, Wade assisted Addie Reding with a slip pass across the box for a one touch finish. Then right before the half, Maddie Prewitt received a pass from Hailee Weisenbach and put the ball into the back of the net. In the 2nd half, Weisenbach received a pass from Reding from inside the box and was able to slip the ball past the keeper. Wade scored the final goal, when she received the ball, saw the goalie off her line and was able to shoot it up and over the keeper. Goalie Brynlie Oesterling added to a sixth shutout for the season. It was snior recognition day. Congratulations to Emma Cheek, Payton Krekeler, Savannah Pohlman, Maddie Prewitt, Addie Reding, Lilly Richardson and Nora Wiedeman.
