Batesville High School

The Batesville High School girls varsity soccer team posted a 9-0 win over Greensburg. Just 2 minutes into the game, freshman Elia Wade scored off a Maddie Prewitt cross. Elia Wade then scored another goal from an assist by Addie Reding. Reding then scored her first and second goals of the night; 1 was a goal after a battle in the box and the other was a rebound off her own shot, to which she then drilled it into the back of the net. The Bulldogs came out in the second half, scoring 3 quick goals. Maddie Prewitt received a slip pass from Reding at the top of the 18-yard box and then sailed a shot up and over the goalie's head. Marley Denning got the next goal, from a well-served pass from Hailee Weisenbach. Weisenbach then scored a pair of goals; 1 she fought for in the box and then placed the ball into the back of the net. The other she was fed a ball from Elia Wade, to which she ran onto to score. Ellie Prewitt got the game ending goal, where she placed herself near post, received a pass from Weisenbach from the wing, for an easy tap in.
