Batesville High School

The Batesville High School girls soccer team defeated Greenfield-Central by a score of 2-1. Greenfield-Central scored first and then both Batesville goals were scored in the second half. Elia Wade earned the team a PK, when the other team had a hard tackle in the box. Hailee Weisenbach, stepped up to take the PK and drilled it into the back of the net. Then with about three minutes left to go, with the game still tied, Alyssa Cummings slipped Maddie Prewitt a pass on the left side of the field, on top of the 18-box corner. Prewitt then took a touch pass a defender and sent a high crossed shot up and over the goalies head for the game-winner. GOALS: Haliee Weisenbach and Maddie Prewitt ASSIST: Alyssa Cummings
