BHS golfers open season at Bloomington South Invitational

The Batesville High School golf team opened up the season with a fourth place finish in a 15-team at the Bloomington South Invitational held at Stone Crest Golf Course. The Bulldogs finished with a team score of 337, which trailed Center Grove (301), Castle (306) and Floyd Central (324). Batesville finished ahead of New Albany (350), Bedford North-Lawrence (350), Washington and Southport. Stella Maple led the Bulldogs with an 18-hole score of 71. That placed her second overall in the tournament. Other scores for the Bulldogs included Alexis Gallagher (78), Grace Saner (92), Adelyne Koehne (96) and Makenna Moore (118).
