Batesville High School

The Batesville varsity baseball team posted a 6-1 over Rushville. Batesville opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two singles. The Bulldogs first got on the board when Brayden Maple singled, scoring one run. Batesville added one run in the third after they scored on a passed ball. Maple earned the win for the Bulldogs. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out three and walking one. Rylan Yeager and Maple each collected two hits for Batesville Varsity Bulldogs. Yeager, Preston Blessing, Maple, and Noah Weigel each drove in one run for Batesville Varsity Bulldogs.
