Batesville High School

The Batesville Bulldogs defeated Lawrenceburg 5-1 in varsity baseball action. The Bulldogs got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Ronan Post doubled down the right field line, and Rylan Yeager singled to left field, each scoring one run. Brayden Maple earned the win for the Bulldogs. The righty allowed two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out four and walking four. Post appeared in relief for the Bulldogs. Maple drove the middle of the lineup, leading Batesville with two runs batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Post, Noah Weigel, and Tiago Batta each collected two hits.
