The Batesville High School softball team was defeated 6-2 in nine inning by Greensburg. "Was a great game to watch and coach and so proud of our team," BHS coach Gene Cooney commented. "We had a couple chances to win the game in regular play. "Was a true battle of pitchers last night and so proud of Grace (Copley) who pitched all 9 innings for us," he added. The Bulldogs scored runs in the fifth and sixth innings to tie score at 2-2. The Bulldogs had six hits in the game. Caitlyn Fox had two, while Payton Yorn, Cora Roth, Laken Obermeyer and Copley each had one. Fox and Roth each scored one time for the Bulldogs. Copley struck out seven over nine innings for the Bulldogs.
