Batesville High School

The Batesville High School girls varsity tennis team posted a 5-0 win over the visiting Rushville Lions. The Bulldogs were led by Ava Walsman at No. 1 singles with a 6-2 and 6-2 win over Izzy Simmmermon. Aurora Mertz was a 6-3 and 6-3 winner at No. 2 singles, whileAddie Fledderman won 6-1 and 6-0 at No. 3. Grace Walter and Grace Gutzwiller teamed up to net a 6-2 and 6-3 win over Cora Morgan and Kelsey Morgan at No. 1 doubles. Liv Maddock and Maddie Haskamp continued their winning ways at No. 2 doubles with a 6-1 and 6-1 victory. The Bulldogs were also 5-2 winners in junior varsity action. Karsyn Watson won in singles play as did the doubles teams of Addie Reding/Ellie Westerfeld, Ella Carpenter/Brynlie Oesterling, Lyla Struewing/Miki Gutzwiller and Lilliana Adams/Sophie West.
