Hughes scores 39 in BHS win

The Batesville High School varsity boys basketball team recorded a 77-53 win at Madison. James Hughes had a big game offensively with 39 points on 16-of-22 shooting from the field. Brayden Maple had a big afternoon as well with 11 points, seven assists and nine rebounds. The Bulldogs got out to a slow start and fell behind 20-15 at the first break. They outscored the Cubs 17-11 in the second to make it a one point game at halftime.
