Bulldogs pick up win at South Dearborn

The Batesville High School varsity basketball team posted a 68-67 victory at South Dearborn. The Bulldogs trailed 35-23 at halftime before outscoring the Knights 22-12 in the third quarter. Batesville followed up with a 23 point fourth to cap the come-from-behind victory. The Bulldogs were led by a balanced scoring attack with four players scoring in double figures. James Hughes led the way with 25 points, while Trenten Luers added 15. Brayden Hughes (13) and Kamryn Holcomb (10) were next in line. Hughes also led the team with three assists and two steals.
