Bulldogs fall to Wildcats 45-36

The Batesville High School girls varsity basketball team suffered a 45-36 loss at Franklin County. Batesville led at each of the first two quarter breaks, including a 23-19 advantage at halftime. Maggie Jelinek and Nora Wiedeman led the team in scoring with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Wiedeman and Kaylin Kathmann each had a team best four assists, while Molly Gesell blocked three shots.
