Bulldogs lose 59-52 at South Ripley

The Batesville High School girls varsity basketball team suffered a hard-fought 59-52 loss at South Ripley. The Bulldogs led 18-14 at the end of the first quarter and then 29-28 at halftime. The third quarter was close as well with the Raiders taking a slim 40-39 lead into the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs had three players score in double figures. Kaylin Kathmann led the way with 17 points followed by Nora Wiedeman with 12 and Maggie Jelinek with 10. Molly Gesell added a team-high five assists.
