BHS girls defeat North Decatur 46-36

The Batesville High School girls basketball team posted a 46-36 win over North Decatur. The Bulldogs outscored the Chargers 14-2 in the first quarter and later led 28-13 at halftime. North Decatur were five points better than the Bulldogs in the second half, but it was not enough to overcome the BHS advantage. Maggie Jelinek had a big night with 26 points and 15 rebounds. Kaylin Kathmann was second on the team in scoring with eight points, while Leah Meyer grabbed nine rebounds.
